Srbija dočekala šampione! / Serbia welcomes the World Champions

After a record breaking victory at the Water polo World Championship in Kazan, the golden Dolphins have been welcomed in front of the National Parliament building, by thousands of people from the entire region. The stage was taken by the coaching staff and all of the team members, thanking the crowd for its support. The champions have also expressed their desire to break the viewing records at the upcoming European championship in Belgrade. The official competition mascot was also presented, to help promote the continental competition.

As always, the team members were humble, gracious and positive. Reminding us, once again, why it is such a pleasure to watch them on and off court. Or in this case, pool.

A short side note. The photos in this post are in fact mine, and you can use them, with permission. In other words, be a decent human being and ask. Thank you in advance.
