Europe and basketball fans around the world are ready for another show. The Eurobasket has officially started today, with a match between the Czech Republic and Estonia, in which the Czechs are currently leading. For the first time ever, the championship will be played in four separate countries. A challenge for both players and organizers.

Aside from the first match, that started at 3pm. a total of 11 matches will be played during the first day of competition; among which: Italy – Turkey, Croatia, as host –  Slovenia, and of course, Spain- Serbia. A real treat for fans everywhere. For now, both Serbia and Spain have 3 wins, in World and European championships. Two of which, Serbia has managed at World Championships (Turkey and Spain).  These matches are always promising, because the sole thought of Serbia and Spain playing on the same court, guarantee a strong game, with many great moves.

We all remember that three pointer by Miloš Teodosić in Turkey, 2010 but the players of coach Aleksandar Đorđević know that they need to be focused to this match alone. It is very important for the team to start off the competition with a win, especially against a significant rival, such as Spain.

Serbia awaits 18:00 CET, as all eyes are set to Berlin. The full group phase schedule is available here.
